Our sunday walk in the forest was ethereal. Up on the mountain the mist was freezing, the overlook merely a white cloud with crystal treetops below the rocks. It was magical.
In previewing your flicker photos this past week I thought this shot was just amazing. Up there with how amazingly phenomenal the spikes themselves were.

Every tree was covered in this spiky frost. I've never seen anything like it.
